Florida Trip

Last week we made a trip down to FL. Where you guessed it, we had another packed but fun week!! We drove down on Friday stayed at my mom's house. On Saturday, we drove to Winter Haven, FL where we saw our wonderful friends, Aaron, Beth, and Caiden. They had a big BBQ for Aaron since he will be leaving for Iraq in October. We had great time seeing them again and Beth and I got to compare belly size!! :) She is due at the beginning of Oct so she had me beat but not by much!!

Then Sunday, we met our old neighbors, Matt, Hollie, and Kendal, from Fort Bragg at Disney World!! It is crazy, we haven't seen them in about 3 years but it felt like not a day had gone by (besides the size of our kids)!! We had lots of fun and actually did just about everything our kids could do by 5pm. Katey's favorite thing was seeing "Mermaid" again. Katey was so happy to hear that they shared the same favorite color, PURPLE!! Tyler's favorite was probably "It's a small world" the only ride he didn't cover his ears!! We also loved Monster's Inc Laugh Room!! After all that, we went to their room at Animal Kingdom Lodge and swam in the pool there! Then we went to Sea World the next day...man, was it HOT at Sea World!!! The kids had fun though and it was sad to say good bye to the Franklins!! We already miss you guys!!

The rest of the week was actually kind of relaxing. Hanging out with family and my new nephew, Kolt!! He is such a little cutie pie!! And Tyler and Katey couldn't get enough of him!!

Next on our list is finding a house at Campbell!! We leave Wednesday for that adventure!! Wish us luck!!

It's another BOY!!

I finally got my ultrasound on July 10th and we found out what everyone already had guessed...we are having another BOY!! Katey and I will be officially outnumbered sometime in November. Ryan was so excited he actually high fived Tyler in the ultrasound room and they both yelled, "YES!!" Katey was in denial telling the lady, "no, it is a girl! you see that picture over there (pointing to a picture on the wall), that's a girl!!" I had to explain that the picture was of a different baby and we had a boy baby. :) Poor girl, I think she really wanted a sista!!

So, now, we are on the hunt for names!! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

Colorado Trip

Wow!!! What an active month we have had!! We have already spent a week in CO and a week in FL. No wonder I am so exhausted!!

On July 1st, Ryan's birthday, we headed to Atlanta to fly out the next day. On the way, we stopped by our friend Phil's mother's house in Carrollton, GA. Phil was Ryan's roommate in Iraq and has been a wonderful friend ever since! We had lunch with him and his mom and sister. Publix subs!!! Yummy!! And they got Ryan a wonderful cake that read...Happy Birthday Underneath that Ryan!! So, funny!! It is a little inside joke. Give me a call if you want the rest of the story!! :)

We then flew out of Atlanta on the 2nd to Denver, CO. We had a wonderful time there! Our little family went plus Ryan's parents, Ryan's bro Chris and his wife, Diona, and my little brother, Tommy, (who isnt so little anymore) all were there. We stayed in a beautiful cabin in Estes Park, CO, right next to the Rocky Mtn Nat Park! Ryan, Chris, Diona, and Tommy all went white water rafting on the 3rd while I got a massage at a beautiful historic hotel!! Thanks to Nana and Gumpy for watching Tyler and Katey!! We went on a little hike up to Alberta Falls in the Rocky Mountain National Park on the 4th. We enjoyed a lovely picnic at the top with our good friends Andrea and Scott. Andrea ran Cross Country/Track with me at FSU and Scott has been friends with Ryan since 5th grade!! We enojoyed fireworks from our cabin that night. Katey loved them and even fell asleep watching them. The rest of the week all she kept asking me was "When it is dark, we see fireworks from our house agian?" Tyler of course had his ears covered even though the fireworks were miles away!! Silly boy! We also went to a Rockies game! ANd it was also a lot of fun. Tyler absolutely loved going to his first MLB with his Daddy!! He went to a Rays game with his Uncle Chris and Gumpy while Ryan was in Iraq. So it was nice to have Daddy with him this time. And surprisingly Katey loved it also!! She would dance everytime a Rockies player went to bat because they played music!! Ryan, Chris, and Tommy also climbed Long's Peak, a 14,250 ft mountain!! It was actually snowing at the top!! The kids, Gumpy, Nana, Diona, and I had fun at Fun City. The kids rode go carts, played mini golf, Katey went on a huge slide, and Tyler did this trampoline bungee thing. I will add some pictures of all our fun later!! Oh, last but not least we all saw our old friends from Fort Bragg, the Walshes' !!! It was great to see old friends and family and be in such a beautiful place!!
