Sitting pretty....:) or should I say handsome!!

Yep, Jake can now sit for quite a long time!! He is just the happiest little guy!! He was getting so excited that he was sitting all by himself!! It was the cutest!

School is out!!

Well, school is out for summer!! Katey LOVED her first time in preschool!! We loved her teachers Ms. Wendy and Ms. Lisa. We are really going to miss them but will see them from across the hall next year. I know she can't wait to start up again in September!! I think about half her class will be in her class again next year!!

Here are some pictures from her ice cream party on their last day (Wednesday) and from the kids' preschool picnic!! Katey had fun rolling down the hills with her friend Sella while Tyler (sorry no pics) ran from the girls!! hahahahh!! He really was getting chased by the girls in his class for half the picnic!!

Our Little Graduate

I seriously can NOT believe Tyler will be going to kindergarten in the fall. He is getting so big!! He actually told me yesterday that the cartoon "Arthur" was "lame". He actually said the word LAME!! And I LOVE Arthur!! Here are some pictures from his preschool graduation. We will miss his teachers Ms. Bonnie and Ms. Jill!! They were wonderful!! And I am sure, we will be having some playdates with one of his best friends Cooper!! Wow, time has flown by!!

Another Funny Quote from Katey

Today we were outside and they were looking in our flower pot and Tyler noticed an ant. He said, "Mom, there is an ant!" Then Katey looks at it and says, "Tyler that isn't an ant that is a little ladybug with no clothes on!"

She just cracks me up!!

About a month ago we were under a tornado warning and Tyler was really scared. (We were hiding in a closet). And he started asking me if there were tornados in all these different places, FL, AL, etc. Then he asked, "What about Afghanistan...are there tornadoes in Afghanistan with Daddy??" Noticing that he was really frightened by this...I just said "No, there aren't any tornadoes in Afghanistan." Then Katey says, (totally serious) "Tyler, there are no tomatoes (tornadoes) in Afghanistan because Daddy shoots them with his helicopter!"


She has quite the imagination!! I just love hearing them talk to eachother!!

Friends!!

So, I just had to share these few from the park. My friend Julie and I got the biggest kick out of the top picture!! We tried for 2 hours to get pictures of our kids to make Father's day gifts and what do you know the best pick with everyone looking is a combined shot of our families!! hahahahh! :) I love it though!!

Ryan got me a new camera lens for our anniversary and Mother's day and I absolutely LOVE it!! Here are some of the shots I took today. Katey was sleeping!! So, Ryan don't yell at me for not including her!! :) We had a great photo shoot with our friends the Singletons at a cute park. You will have to wait to see most of those because they are for Father's day!!

Mother's Day Tea

Tyler's preschool class had a Mother's Day tea on Monday. It was so cute. The teachers had the kids bring their moms and (grandmas) their plate of food and a drink. They were all so proud!! Tyler also made a cute frame and a card. It was all so nice!! Here is a picture of the table and of me and my boys!! :) Katey's class has a Mother's Day brunch on Friday so stay tuned for pictures from that!!
